José Luis Ábalos Meco is a member of the Spanish Socialist Working Party from Valencia, a branch of the Spanish Socialist Working Party (PSPV-PSOE coalition) and Secretary for the Ministry of Environment. Since 2009, he has been a member of the Spanish Parliament, or "Consejo de los Diputados" for the district of Valencia.
Political Career[edit]
He was born in Torrente, Valencia, on 9th December 1960. Having spent some time as a school teacher, he later moved into politics. In 1981, he enrolled in the PSPV and since 1983, he has worked in different positions within the Spanish government, the government of Valencia and the Town hall of Valencia city.
