Boriana Åberg was born in Bulgaria in 1968. She has been a member of the Swedish Parliament since 2010 and represents the Moderate Party.
Political Career[edit]
Boriana Åberg joined the Moderate Party in 1998. In the 2002 elections she was voted into the City Council of Kävlinge in southern Sweden. Due to the sudden death of the Chairman of the Council, Åberg replaced him as the Chairman of the City Council in 2007. She was also a replacement in the parliament in 2008 and 2009 for around 2 months both times. In the 2010 election Boriana Åberg was voted in as an ordinary member of Parliament.
Education[edit]
She has a Master of Science in engineering from Bulgaria, but when she moved to Sweden in the beginning of the 90s she realized that her Master was not valid in Sweden so she started training to become a Social Worker at the University of Lund.
