Maria Abrahamsson was born on the 21st of July, 1963 in Kalmar, Sweden. She is a member of the Swedish parliament representing the Moderate Party.
Political Career[edit]
Maria Abrahamsson started her career at the Department of Law answering letters and writing speeches for the Minister of Law in 1992. In 1994 she started to work within the Moderate Party as an expert in law and politics. In the elections of 2010 she was elected as a member of parliament representing the Moderate Party.
Education[edit]
In 1983 she started to study at the University of Lund. She studied journalism and some sociology. In 1996 she continued her studies in Stockholm where she finished a bachelor degree in Law.
Other Achievements[edit]
Between 1999-2009 she worked as a editorial writer for Svenska Dagbladet, which is one of Swedens biggest newsletters. In 2005 she won the Lawyers Associations journalist prize.
