Neil Forbes Davidson, Baron Davidson of Glen Clova, Queen's Counsel, born 13th September 1950, is a Scottish lawyer and former Advocate General for Scotland.
Political Career
Lord Davidson of Glen Clova joined the House of Lords in 2006 with the Labour Party and was appointed to the office of the Advocate General for Scotland. Since 2010 he has been Shadow Advocate General for Scotland, Shadow Spokesperson for the Treasury and, until 2012, Shadow Spokesperson for Scotland.
Education
Lord Davidson studied at the University of Stirling obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree, then at the University of Bradford and the University of Edinburgh. In 1979 he was admitted to the Faculty of Advocates. His private practice is in commercial and administrative law.
