Paavo Arhinmäki was born on the 13th of December 1976 in Helsinki. He is a member of the Finnish parliament who has represented the Left Alliance Party since 2007.
Political Career[edit]
Paavo Arhinmäki was Chairman of the Young Lefts from 2001-2005. In 2001 he joined the City Council of Helsinki and he is still a member. In 2007 he became a member of parliament for the Left Alliance. In 2009 he was voted the leader for the Left Alliance. Paaco Arhinmäki was the Minister of Culture and Sports between 2011-2014.

He is a student of Political Science at the University of Helsinki.
