Jonas Åkerlund was born on the 21st of January 1949. He is a member of the Swedish Parliament. He is representing the Swedish Democrats and he is the deputy party leader of the party.
Political Career[edit]
Jonas Åkerlund started his political career as a member of the Social Democrats during the 70s. In 1985 he changed party to the Moderate Party and between 1988-1991 he was on the top of the partylist in Ockelbo. Jonas Åkerlund joined the Swedish Democrats in 1995 and in 2004-2005 he was the press secretary for the party. The Swedish Democrats came in to the parliament in 2010 and that was when Jonas Åkerlund was elected as a member of parliament and also as the deputy party leader.
