Matilde Pastora Asian González has been a Spanish National Deputy since 2011 when she was elected to the constituency of Las Palmas (Canary Islands) for the People's Party (PP). She was born on 1st September 1955.
Political Career[edit]
Matilde Asian González has held important positions such as State Tax Inspector, accounts auditor and member of the Spanish Chartered Accountants Association. She was President of the Zona Especial Canarias, Vice-Councillor for Economic and Foreign Affairs with the EU in the Canary Islands Government. She is Deputy of the Permanent Delegation for the National Government and spokeswoman in a number of Committees such as Taxes and Public Administration, and Financial and Mortgage Services.
