Marti Barbera i Montserrat was born in el Morell on 13th August 1966.
Political Career[edit]
He was first elected in 1991 as a city councillor for Morell. Twelve years later, he was appointed councillor of the City of Valls. He is currently the spokesman of CIU in the Education and Sport Commission and also in the Climate Change Commission. Since November 2011, he has been a member of the Agriculture and Environment Commission.
