Jaime Javier Barrero López is a member of the PSOE (Spanish Socialist Worker's Party) and current parliamentarian for the region of Huelva, as well as the Second Vice-President of the Spanish Parliament.

He was born in Sotillo de la Adrada on September , 1949. He graduated in Law and worked as a lawyer and law advisor until he became a member of parliament for the PSOE of Huelva in 1982. Throughout his years he has carried out several responsibilities within the Congreso de los Diputados, such as Vice-President of the Constitutional Commission, spokesman for the Justice Commission, and spokesperson for the Defence Commission.
