Magdalena Valerio Cordero (born 27 September 1959) is a Spanish Politician.
Political career[edit]
Valerio has been an MP for the Spanish Socialist Workers’ Party (PSOE) from Guadalajara, Castilla-La Mancha for one term, since 2011. Previously, she was a councillor and Deputy Mayor in Guadalajara. In 2005, she was Counselor of Labour and Employment; in 2007, the same position in Tourism and Handicraft; and in 2008 she became the Counselor of Public Administration and Justice. In 2008, Valerio became member of the Regional Executive Commission of the PSOE in Castilla-La Mancha, and she was chosen Secretary General of the Local Executive Commission of Guadalajara. Likewise, from 2000 until 2012 she was member of the Regional Committee of PSOE in Castilla-La Mancha. In May 2010, she was appointed Government Representative of Castilla-La Mancha.
Education[edit]
Valerio studied Law at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. She is a civil servant for the the Social Security Department.
