Algirdas Vaclovas Patackas (born 28 September 1943 in Trakai, Lithuania) is a Lithuanian engineer, technologist and politician. He has been a memeber of the Parliament since 1992. In 2012, he became a member of the Committee on Education, Science and Culture.
Political Career[edit]
Patackas' political career started in 1988, when he became a member of the Initiative Group in Kaunas, where he took part in a Lithuanian Reform Movement. In 1990 he was elected to the Supreme Council in Žaliakalnis.
