Antoni Mężydło was born on 23rd August 1954 in Lubawa, Poland. He is a Polish politician and since 2001 a member of Parliament (IV, V, VI,VII cadency).

Even as a student he engaged in opposition activities. He was an associate KSS KOR and Gdańsk SKS from 1977 until 1978 and belonged to the co-organizers of Free Trade Unions of the Coast. In the years 1979-1980 he organized lectures of the Society of Academic Courses. In 1981 he was the coordinator of the Centre for Social Culture Region Board of Gdansk "Solidarity". Education[edit]
He graduated from the Faculty of Electronics, Technical University of Gdansk in 1978. In 1980 he was granted a discharge of physics at the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, University of Gdansk. In 2000 he completed postgraduate studies in the field of corporate finance and capital markets at the School of Management and Marketing in Warsaw.
