Angelien Eijsink, born on april 1st in St. Isidorushoeve, the Netherlands, is a member of the Dutch House of Representatives on behalf of the Dutch Labour Party (PvdA). She has been a member of the House of Representatives since January 30th 2003.
Career[edit]
Before starting her political career with the PvdA, Eijsink held several positions within the Dutch education system. She has been working consecutively as a nursery school teacher, nursery head teacher and music teacher and deputy head teacher of a primary school between 1979 and 1985. Eijsink holds a nursery school teacher course degree, for which she was certified in 1979. She is also a fully qualified primary school teacher, specializing in music education, as well as a certified tavel guide. She holds a Master's Degree in Cultural Anthropology and Development Sociology from Leiden University, which she obtained between 1991 and 1995.
