Joe Mizzi was born on 7 of March 1952 in Haz Zabbar. He is the current Minister for Transport and the Infrastructure of Malta.


Political career[edit]

He was appointed as Propaganda Secretary in 1975. He was first elected to Parliament in 1987 and has been re-elected every time since then. In 1989 he was appointed Parliamentary Group Secretary and member of the Labour Party administration, a post he retains to date. In 1996 he was Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister.
