Carmelo Mifsud Bonnici was born in Floriana on 17 February 1960. He is today a member of the Nationalist Party and a member of the Foreign and European Affairs Committee.

Political career[edit]

Carmelo Mifsud Bonnici was elected to Parliament for the Nationalist Party in 1998. The same year he was appointed Chairman of Committees and became permanent member of a number of other committees including the Standing Committee on Privileges and the Standing Committee on the Consideration of Laws.
