Cáit Keane was born on September 1949 in Galway, Ireland.
Political Career[edit]
She was elected to South Dublin County Council for the electoral area of Terenure-Rathfarnham in 1999 and 2004 and was previously elected to represent Terenure on Dublin County Council at the 1991 local elections. Cáit Keane is the Fine Gael Seanad spokesperson on Environment and Local Government. In 2013 Cáit Keane welcomed the Seanad Reform Bill.
