Andreja Katič (born December 9, 1976) is one of the two Vice-Presidents of the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia and a member of the Social Democrats (Slovenian: Socialni demokrati, SD).
Political Career[edit]
She was elected to the Slovenian National Assembly in 2014.
Professional Career[edit]
Andreja Katič was a member of the Management Board of the University of Maribor, the President of the Velenje Library Council, a member of the Council of the Health Center Velenje and the president of the association, connecting the directors of Slovenian municipal administrations. Among other things, she was also the long-time representative of the public in senates for complaints against police officers. She is a Commissioner of the project Velenje, UNICEF child-friendly city. She has participated in the establishment and work of the advisory committee on improving safety of citizens and residents of the Municipality of Velenje. Last but not least, Andreja Katič is a lecturer at various conferences in the field of management and organization of local self-government.

Andreja Katič graduated at the Faculty of Law, University of Maribor, in 1996.
