Nicos Katsourides was born in Nicosia in 1951.He is a Greek/Cypriot politician and economist.
Political Career[edit]
He is Representative of Nicosia constituency under the banner of AKEL-Left-New Forces since 1991. He served as Parliamentary Spokesman of AKEL-Left-New Forces for 10 years(2003-2013),Member of the Committee of Selection,and as Chairman of the House Standing Committee on Internal Affairs. He also served as First Vice-president of the delegation of the House to the EU-Cyprus Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC).
