Georgios Georgiou was born in Famagusta in 1957.He is a Greek/Cypriot politician and lawyer.
Political Career[edit]
He is Representative of Famagusta constituency under the banner of DISY since 2001. He served as Deputy Parliamentary Spokesman of DISY,Chairman of the House Standing Committee on Development Plans and Public Expenditure Control, and Deputy Chairman of the House Standing Committee on Legal Affairs. He is currently serves as Chairman of the House Standing Committee on Development Plans and Public Expenditure Control and Member of the House Standing Committee on Legal Affairs since April 2013.
Education[edit]
He is graduated in Public Administration and Political Science from Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences, Athens and Law from Democritus University of Thrace, Greece.He speaks English.
