Angeles Alvarez Alvarez (Molacillos (Zamora), February 12, 1961) is a Spanish socialist politician.

Political Career

Elected Councillor in the City of Madrid (2001-2011) lists the candidacy of Miguel Sebastian, she became deputy spokesman of the Municipal Socialist Group, following the departure of Pilar Gallego. As a member of the Madrid corporation she was PSOE spokesman in the District Board of Retirement, deputy spokesman at the Annual Commission on Family and Social Services and vocal in commissions Environment (CPO) and the Arts (CPO). Member of the Governing Council of the Autonomous IAM and vocal in the Committee on Employment and Equality Madrid Federation of Municipalities. It became part of the first executive of Thomas Gomez as secretary Equality Policy and Electoral Action PSM-PSOE after the Extraordinary Congress of the PSM, held on 27 and 28 July 2007.

Education

Collaborating as a guest of various universities in postgraduate courses on violence as the Masters and Diploma Gender Studies Gender Violence Department of Sociology at the Complutense University and other graduate studies at the Public University of Navarra and the Pontifical University of Salamanca. Also from the Foundation for Women she coordinated the implementation of Detects Project in collaboration with the National University of Distance Education (UNED), pioneering research to analyze the correlation between the incorporation of sexist beliefs and gender violence. He also co-directed the first training courses for teachers in pedagogies for Equality and Prevention of Gender Violence at the University of Alcalá de Henares.
