Pia Adelsteen Andersen was born on September 11th 1963 in Korsør. He has been a Member of Parliament for the Danish People's Party in North Zealand since November 13th 2007. She was also the candidate for the Danish People's Party in the Egedal district in 2007.
Political Career
She is spokeswoman for the EU on gender equality and environmental issues. She is a member of the European Affairs Committee, the Gender Equality Committee, the Employment Committee and the Legal Affairs Committee. She is also Deputy member of the Nordic Council.
She was a member of the town council in Slangerup Municipality between 2002-2006, member of the town council in Frederikssund Municipality since 2006, member of the amalgamation committee since 2006, vice-chairwoman of the social services and prevention committee 2007-2009, and member of the committee on economic affairs since 2012.
