Born January 20, 1956 in Adrada (Ávila).
Political Career[edit]
He was Mayor of the City of Avila (1987-2004). Afterwards he was President of the Council of Ávila (1993-2004) and Solicitor in Castilla y León (1991-1995). From 2004 to 2008, he was Executive Secretary of the Popular Party Organization and a member of the National Executive Committee of the People's party in Castilla y León.
Education[edit]
He has a Bachelors degree in Law from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and also has a PhD in Law from the University of Burgos.
