Markku Eestilä was born on the 23rd of July, 1956 in Iisalmi. He has been a member of the Finnish parliament since 2011, representing the National Coalition Party. He is a veterinarian by profession.
Political Career[edit]
Markku Eestilä has been an Iisalmen city councilor since 1996. He was the Chairman of the Council in 2001-2009, Vice-President and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors in 2009-2013. He was the Chairman of the Northern Savo Hospital District in 2009-2013. He was elected as a Member of Parliament for the National Coalition Party in 2011.
Education[edit]
He attended the College of Veterinary Medicine in Helsinki where he obtained a Licentiate in Veterinary Medicine.
