He is a member of the Human Rights and Minorities Rights Commitee, the Croats outside the Republic of Croatia Commitee, the Trans-Parliamentary Cooperation Commitee, the Inter-Parliamentary Union's National Groups in Croatian Parliament Executive Board, and a member of the Croatian delegation in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union for the Mediterranean.

He graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Split obtaining a Bachelor degree in Economics. At the same Faculty he later obtained his Master's degree in European Economic Integration (univ. spec. econ.).

Ante Babić was born on May 26, 1966 in Trier, Federal Republic of Germany. He is a member of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ; Croatian: Hrvatska Demokratska Zajednica) and has been a member of the Croatian Parliament since 2011.

Political Career[edit]

Babić entered the Croatian Parliament in December 2011 as a substitute for Damir Krstičević.
