Anne Lambelin, born in Terhulpen on December 19, 1987, is a Belgian politician for the PS (Socialist Party) and State Senator.
Political Career[edit]
After unsuccessfully participating in the municipal elections of 2006, the regional elections of 2009 and the federal elections in 2010, she was elected as Councilor for Terhulpen during the municipal elections of 2012. She immediately became alderwoman and chairman of the CPAS. In addition, she was an employee of the former President of the Chamber of Representatives, André Flahaut.
In the regional elections of 2014, she was second on the PS list of Walloon-Brabant and was elected to the Walloon Parliament. Together with Ruddy Warnier, she is one of the youngest Walloon MPs. That same year, she became State Senator in the Belgian Senate.
Education[edit]
In 2012, Lambelin obtained a Master degree in Political Science form the Free University of Brussels (ULB).
