Tom Sheahan was born September 5th 1968. He a member of the Irish Seanad Éireann for Fine Gael party.
Political Career[edit]
Tom Sheahan was elected for the first time in the 2004 local elections to Kerry County Council for the Killarney area. Three years later he was elected to the Dáil, where he became the Chairman of the Joint Oireachtas Committee on European Scrutiny.
During the same time period, Sheahan served as Deputy Spokesperson on Agriculture with Special Responsibility for Fisheries.
In October 2010, he was appointed Deputy Spokesperson on Agriculture with Special Responsibility for Forestry.
Notable Works[edit]
Tom Sheahan is a member of the Kerry Mental Health Association, Rathmore Community Council and Rathmore GAA Club.
