He obtained a degree in Political Science in 1985 from the University of Rome "La Sapienza".

Political career[edit]

In 2013 he was elected with Popolo della Libertà and became part of the Culture, Science and Education Commission, and also for the Foreign and Communitarian Affairs. Under the ministry of Emma Bonino, he was the Foreign Affairs Vice-Minister from May to December 2013.
