Dr. Helge Braun was born on October 1972 in Gießen. He is a physician , and currently works as state minister for the federal chancellery.
Political Career[edit]
From 1989 to 2007, Braun was a member of the Junge Union, the youth organization of the CDU. He has been a member of the CDU since 1990. From 2002 to 2005, he was a member of the 15th German Bundestag. He is a member of the board of education, research, and environment, and speaker for the CDU/CSU fraction in the parliamentary board of advisers.
Education[edit]
Braun studied medicine from 1994 to 2001 at the Justus-Liebig University in Gießen.
