María del Carmen Fúnez de Gregorio is a Spanish senator representing the Spanish province of Ciudad Real, in Castilla-La-Mancha, in the 10th Congress of Deputies. Fúnez de Gregorio is a member of the Spanish Popular Party, Partido Popular (PP).
Political Career[edit]
From 2012 to 2013 she was a member of the Commission on the Special Study of New Forms of Social Exclusion as a Result of Strong Increases in Unemployment. Fúnez de Gregorio is currently the first Secretary of the Committee on Culture and a member of the Committee on Employment and Social Security. She is also a member of the Latin American Affairs Committee.
Other Details[edit]
Fúnez de Gregorio is the General Secretary of Women in Equality (Mujeres en Igualdad), an association that fights agains inequality and gender violence. She is a woman committed to the cause of ensuring that men and women are equal in all walks of life as the Spanish legal system dictates.
