Veerle Wouters was born on June 2nd 1974 in Tongeren (Belgium). She is a member of the Belgian Chamber of Representatives for the Flemish nationalist party (N-VA).
Political Career[edit]
Veerle Wouters was a councillor in Riemst from 2001 to 2006. After the local elections in 2012, she got her seat back in the local council of Riemst. From 2006 to 2010 she was a councillor in the province of Limburg and she led the NV-A group in the provincial council. Since the national elections in 2010, she has held a seat in the Belgian Chamber of Representatives for the Flemish nationalists (N-VA). She is also a member of the Benelux Parliament.

She holds a degree in economics.
