John Gilroy (July 20, 1967) is an Irish politician and psychiatric nurse.
Education[edit]
John Gilroy has a degree and a license to work as psychiatric nurse, which he obtained from St Stephen’s Hospital in Glanmire.
Political career[edit]
John Gilroy was elected to represent the Labour Party on Cork County Council in 2004, and then retained the seat in the next round in 2009. Then, he was elected to the Cultural and Educational panel in the 2011 electoral round.
Notable works[edit]
Gilroy is chairman of juvenile football team, Riverstown Football Club, as well as being the director of Glanmire Area Community Association. He is also a member of SAFE in Glanmire and head of league development with Cork Women's and Schoolgirls League.
