Pierre André has been a member of the Senate of France for the constituency of Aisne since 1998. He is part of the Union for a Popular Movement (Union pour un Mouvement Populaire). He is a member of the Commission of Foreign Affairs, Defence and Armed Forces, and member of the Study Board on Waste Management.
