Political career[edit]

Nikos Koutsou is a representative of Famagusta constituency under the banner of the European Party 2006 - 2013 and since June 2013 under the banner of the Citizens Alliance. He is one of the founders of the Movement for Europe (1989),founding member and President of the party “New Horizons” (1996-2005),and founding member and Vice-president (since 1996) of the European Democratic Party (EDP). Moreover, he is founding member and Deputy President of the European Party since 2005, and Member of the National Council, the supreme advisory body to the President of the Republic on the Cyprus problem, since 1996.

Education[edit]

Nikos Koutsou graduated in Economics, Political Science and Law from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, and he also graduated in Public Administration and Public Law from the Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences, Athens.He speaks English.
