Jean Paul Adam, born on June, 12th, 1977 is the current Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Seychelles.
Political Career[edit]
Jean Paul Adam entered his diplomatic career in 1996 within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. For one year he served as Trainee Protocol Officer, then served as Second Secretary from 2001 until 2004. From 2006 until 2007 he was appointed as the Director General of Presidential Affairs, Principle Secretary in the Office of the President from 2007 to 2009, and Secretary of State in the Office of the President from 2009 until 2010. In 2010 he was appointed Minister for Foreign Affairs. In addition to his public servant carrer, Jean Paul Adam also is a professional athlete, and has on several occasion competed for the Seychelles in international swimming competitions.
Education[edit]
After graduation from the University of Sheffield, Jean Paul Adam completed a Master’s in International Political Economy at the University of Manchester.
