Zuhal Demir (born 2 March 1980 in Genk) is a Belgian lawyer and politician affiliated to the N-VA. Demir was elected as a member of the Belgian Chamber of Representatives in 2010.[1]
Political career[edit]
In 2010 she was elected as a member of the Chamber of Representatives for the New Flemish Alliance part N-VA. Since January 2013, she has been mayor of the district of Antwerp.
Education[edit]
She studied Law at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in 1998–2003, and went on to study a Masters in Social Law at Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
