Mariusz Błaszczak was born in September 19th, 1969 in Legionowo. He is a polish historian, politician and a local government representative. Currently he is the chairperson of the parliamentary club of the biggest opposition party (PiS).

Political career[edit]

Błaszczak started his political career as the Deputy Mayor of the Wola District of Warsaw in 2002 – 2004. In 2004, he was chosen as Mayor of the Śródmieście District.
