Noel Coonan was born on January 1951 and has been a member of the Dali Eireann since 2007. Additionally, He is also the Teachta Dála (TD) for the Tipperary North constituency since 2011.
Political Career[edit]
Currently Noel Coonan has been given the role of Vice Chairperson of the Oireachtas Committee on Environment, Culture and the Gaeltacht. However, in his previous role was Fine Gael’s Deputy Spokesperson on Agriculture with Special Responsibility for Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) Reform. In July 2002 he was elected to Seanad Éireann (Cultural and Educational Panel) and was Fine Gael’s Spokesperson on Agriculture and Food in the Upper House

Coonan Noel is President of the ‘Collins22 Society’ and is highly involved in extending the influence of Michael Collins by promoting his life, his workings and his ethos which he bestowed on the Irish people as an Irish revolutionary leader.
