José Manuel de Albuquerque Portocarrero Canavarro was born on the 17th of April 1965 and he is a University Professor, a Finance Consultant, and Director of the Magazine “Education and Employment”.

He was elected to the current legislature. He is a social Democratic Deputy in the Portuguese National Parliament and a member of the Commission for Education, Science and Culture as well as of the Social Security and Labor.

He holds a PhD in Social Psychology and he has published several works about Education and Science.
