Alfonso Alonso Aranegui is a lawyer, philologist, Spanish politician and member of the People's Party (PP). He has been councillor of Vitoria (1996-2008), and was later elected as Mayor of Vitoria (1996-2008). Since that, he has been deputy in the Spanish Congress and spokesman of the People's Party in the Congress since 2011.
