Pietro Liuzzi, born in Noci, Bari, Puglia, on March 16th 1954, serves the Italian Parliament as a Senator representing the region Puglia. He is a member of the Forza Italia political party and he was mayor of Noci until 2013.
Political Career[edit]
In 2013 Pietro Liuzzi was elected senator of the XVII Legislature of the Italian Republic in the constituency of Puglia in Forza Italia-Popolo della Libertà political group. As a Senator, he was appointed as a member of the 7th Permanent Commission on Education and Cultural Heritage. He is also a member of the 14th Permanent Commission on European Union Policies.
