Roald van der Linde was born on the 22nd of November 1968. He is a politician in the Dutch House of Representatives for the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD).

Political career

Before he was a politician in the Dutch parliament, he worked for the Dutch newspaper NRC. Between 1996 and 1998 he was the Personal Assistant of a VVD parliament member. He worked for the Ministry of Finance between 1998 and 2004. Subsequently, he worked for the Dutch embassy in Washington and the ABN AMRO Bank.

Education

He studied Business Administration at Nijenrode University, economy at the Erasmus University Rotterdam and Dutch law at the Open University.
