Ahmed Marcouch was born on the 2nd of May 1966 in Beni-Boughafar (Morocco). He is a politician in the Dutch House of Representatives for the Labour Party (PvdA).
Political career[edit]
Before his political career, he worked for the police in Amsterdam. He was also a teacher in sociology. Subsequently, he was a process manager in youth policy for the Amsterdam municipality. He then worked as a spokesman and board member for the Union of Moroccan mosques in Amsterdam. Finally, he was a district mayor of Slotervaart (a district in Amsterdam).
