Lorraine Higgins (August 3, 1979) is an Irish barrister and Labour Party politician.
Political career
Lorraine Higgins is currently the Labour Party spokesperson on Reform and Foreign Affairs in the Irish Seanad. She ran as the Labour Party candidate in the Midlands–North-West constituency for the 2014 European Parliament election. She was unsuccessful in this election.
Education
Higgins graduated from the National University of Ireland with a thesis in Political & Social Science and History in 2001. She also attended the Honorable Society of Kings Inn from 2001 to 2005.
Further information
Higgins would like to be a voice for Ireland in Europe to lift Ireland’s burden of bank debt and provide guaranteed jobs, education and training places for young people.
