Katarina Barley is a German politician and a member of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD).
Political Career
Barley was a Member of the Schweich City Council from 2005 and 2011. She is currently a Member of the federation council in Schweich. She has been a Member of the SPD district department in Trier-Saarburg since 2005. She has been the SPD district chairman since 2010.
Education
Barley studied law in Marburg and Paris. She obtained Diplôme de Droit Franςais while studying Université Paris-Sud. In 1998, Barley obtained a Doctor of Laws in Münster.
