He is Vice President of the Third Commission for Foreign and Communitarian Affairs, specifically within the Permanent Committee on Foreign Policy and External Relations of the European Union. In July 2013 he joined the Parliamentary Delegation at the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, he became President in May 2014.
