Elisa Mariano was born on June 16th 1977 in San Pietro Vernotico, in the district of Brindisi, Puglia. She is an Italian politician.
Political career
In the political elections of 2013 she was elected to the Italian Chamber of Deputies for the Italian Party Partito Democratico (PD) representing the district of Puglia. She has been a member of the Tourism and Trade Commission since May 2013 and a member of the Social Commission since August 2014.
Education
She got a degree in Sociological Sciences at the University "La Sapienza", Rome. Moreover she got a Phd in Public Policies from the same university. She currently works as a researcher at Ires Cgil Puglia Center (Cgil Institute for Economic and Social Research).
