Milorad Batinić was born on 7 September 1957 in Varaždin, Croatia. He is a member of the Croatian People's Party - Liberal Democrats (Croatian: Hrvatska narodna stranka - liberalni demokrati) and has been a Deputy Speaker of the Croatian Parliament since 2011.
Political Career[edit]
Since 2005 Batinić has been the Mayor of Ivanec Town, Croatia. His mandate in the Croatian Parliament began in 2011. At the first, constituent session of the 7th Parliament, Milorad Batinić was elected as a Deputy Speaker of the Croatian Parliament along with Josip Leko and Nenad Stazić. Additionally, he served as member of the Domestic Policy and National Security Committee, the Committee on the Economy, and as a chairperson of the Deputy Club of the Croatian People's Party - Liberal Democrats, a position for which he was elected on May 30, 2014.
Education[edit]
Batinić graduated from the Faculty of Forestry in Zagreb.
