Political Career
He participated in the creation of the Legal Department of CCOO, being the lawyer of the Federation of Construction. Since 1984, the union representing the Labor Council, the National Social Security Institute and the Council of the Catalan Institute of Health. After the IV Congress of CCOO in Catalonia he was appointed Secretary of Foreign and Institutional Action. He was Secretary General of CCOO in Catalonia since the sixth congress of the union, held in December 1995, replacing Josep Lluís López Bulla. He is an MP in the House of Representatives since the general elections of 2011, it was the candidate of Initiative for Catalonia-Greens in the Plural Left coalition.
Education
He has a degree in Law from the University of Barcelona. He began working in the offices of labor lawyers.
