In the Eighties he worked as a teacher and vice headmaster at the Waldensian High School in Torre Pellice. Lucio Malan is member of the People of Freedom Party. From 1994 to 1996 he was a deputy, and since 2001 he has been a Senator and Secretary of the presidency of the Italian government. He is also a member of NATO Parliamentary Assembly. Lucio Malan is a member of the Waldensian Evangelical Church. From 1990 to 1998 he was guest speaker of Italian History and Culture at University Studies Abroad Consortium in Turin, Italy. From 1998 to 2008 he has been the director of communications of Forza Italia Party.

He has been supervisor of numerous bills, strongly engaged on the issues of security, immigration, human rights and religious freedom.

Lucio Malan

Lucio Malan is an Italian professor and party leader. He was born in Luserna San Giovanni, Torino, Piemonte, on July 30th 1960. He has served the Italian Parliament as Senator representing the region Piemonte since 2013.
