Bart de Liefde was born on the 18th of December 1976 in London. He is a politician in the Dutch House of Representatives for the People's party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD).
Political career
Between 2003 and 2006 he was the Personal Assistant of a VVD parliament member. In the same years he was a member of the VVD-commission 'Health, Welfare and Sport'. Between 2004 and 2006 he was an advisory member of the taxes-commission of the VVD. Between 2006 and 2010 he was a member of the city council of the Hague for the VVD. Additionally, between 2009 and 2010 he was a Public Affairs advisor.
Education
Between 1996 and 2000 he studied Public Administration at the Thorbecke Academy Leeuwarden. However, in 2008 he acquired a masters in Public Affairs at the University of Leiden.
